Sometimes you need to leave your home, to find your heart ...

A HEART UNWRINKLED is a charming adaptation of the award winning Canadian classic,  In Strangers in Good Company, which was named one of the 10 Best Films of 1990 by the Washington Post and garnered four star reviews from such papers as the New York Post, the Chicago Tribune and the Denver Post.

When Rose passes away, she realizes that the greatest gift she can leave her six best friends and sister, who have never met, is companionship.  So, she bequeaths her lake house to them.  When the bus they have hired to take them to the home breaks down, this group of eclectic women becomes stranded in the wilderness.  With only their wits, memories, and eventually some roasted frogs' legs to sustain them through the long days and nights.

This remarkable group of strangers shares their life stories, their hopes and fears - turning the crisis into a magical time of humor, spirit and friendship.

In this heartwarming tale, these women discover that "To keep the heart unwrinkled, to be hopeful, kindly, cheerful, reverent, that is to triumph over old age."
